Apple Goes Ape When iPhone 4G Prototype is Wrongfully Displayed
| April 28, 2010 | Posted by George Marks under Apple, Electronics, Gadgets, iPad, iPhone, iPod, tablet, Tech News |

Apple is well known for its iPhones and the new iPad. People are so excited when the release new hardware that some are willing to wait in line for hours (and days) to buy it before anyone else does .
With so much excitement, what would you do if you were Jason Chen, a senior editor at tech magazine Gizmodo, and you happened to come across a yet-to-be-released iPhone? Also, what would you do if you were Apple and Chen wanted to post about your new product before it was fit to be released?

E-reader: Apple’s iPad or Amazon’s Kindle?
| April 26, 2010 | Posted by Abren Michaels under amazon, Apple, Electronics, Gadgets, iPad, iPhone, iPod, tablet, Tech News |

With the emergence of the iPad, rumors have circulated that the Amazon Kindle will die out. What many devoted Kindle users will tell you is that nothing can replace their Kindle, and here’s why. The biggest complaint about the iPad, when used as an e-reader, is that it is not friendly to the eyes because of the backlit screen. A Kindle screen mimics newspaper print so it is easy to read and can be used in direct sunlight and is not strenuous on the eyes.
The other main criticism of the iPad vs. Kindle is the price. The simplest of the iPad’s will cost you around $500, while the Kindle is half that price. Categorizing the iPad as an e-reader does not make sense, since it has various functions and applications. If one is looking for strictly an e-reader, Kindle is more affordable. However, for those looking for something closer to what a laptop can do, iPad will be a better choice.
Apple iPad Surpasses all Expectations
| April 13, 2010 | Posted by Alyssa Duval under Apple, Electronics, iPad, iPhone, iPod, tablet, Tech News |

On April 3rd, 2010, Apple finally released the long-awaited iPad. This short post will tell you a little bit about my impressions of this device.
The first thing you’ll notice about the iPad is how thin it is. It’s actually a bit thinner than an iPhone! When you pick it up, it feels a bit heavy, at 1.5 lbs. However, the plus side of this is that you can really feel the solid quality of this device.
Despite how many people have been saying that it is just a big iPod Touch, there are actually a few changes that set it apart. The Safari web-browsing app, for example, has a new UI for when you’re switching between windows. Rather than flipping through your windows one by one, you can see them all at the same time.
The iTunes app also is much improved. It looks a lot closer to the iTunes that you’d expect on your computer. Perhaps the biggest improvement is the YouTube App. You can see all the search results on the same screen, and the display is absolutely gorgeous.
Overall, I think the iPad is a great value for the price. It’s hard to sum up all the features for you. You need to go to an Apple Store and try it for yourself.
There’s an App For That – Whatever You Want to Do on Your iPad, Apple Offers an App to Make it Happen
| April 6, 2010 | Posted by Jessica Moreno under Apple, AT&T, Electronics, Gadgets, iPad, iPhone, iPod, Mac, tablet, Tech News |

Apple features over 150,000 apps for the soon to be released iPad, and this number is expected to grow once developers start new projects for this new tablet phenomenon. Popular social networking apps include Facebook, which allows iPad users to keep up with all of their friends at once. The New York Times reader app is expected to remain one of the most widely used apps after it’s popularity on the iPhone. The iPad also features far more high quality and full length games than the iPhone, including Need for Speed Shift. Or watch streaming movies anywhere with the Netflix On Demand app, which takes full advantage of the iPad’s high quality video capabilities. No matter what you intend to use your iPad for, whether it’s for work or simply for entertaining yourself, the Apple App Store features a variety of apps that can help you do it.

Reports from a Korean telecomm company are hinting that Apple will issue them a next-generation iPhone (4G) this April, to sell to their larger corporate customers. A top executive at KT , the company’s #2 phone company, says the spring time pre-release will serve as a “dry run” for a general public roll-out in June.
